Celebrate Christmas Eve at Christ Church, Sunday, Dec. 24!
Bring your children to our 4pm Nativity Pageant or join us in the evening for Carols at 9:30pm and our 10pm Festival Eucharist worship service. All are welcome!
Children's Nativity Pageant – 4:00 p.m.
Join us for this FUN family tradition:
- ALL children ages 3+ can participate (you do not need to be a member of Christ Church)
- No rehearsal required; just arrive by 3:50 p.m.
- Casual, family-oriented service
- Great photo opportunities!
Children will assemble in the back of the church before the start of the service. Welcomers and pageant helpers will assist you.
Evening Carols and Worship Service
9:30 p.m. Carols | 10:00 p.m. Festival Eucharist
Christ Episcopal Parish invites all members of our greater Rockville community to usher in Christmas with caroling and holy worship. Carols begin at 9:30 p.m. immediately followed by the start of the worship service at 10 p.m.
This special Christmas Eve service will feature a traditional celebration of the Nativity of the Lord with Holy Eucharist (Rite II). Along with congregational hymns, music will be provided by our choir and festival brass. Please note that incense will be used at this service.
Christ Church welcomes everyone to receive Holy Communion, which we offer in gluten and gluten-free waifers with the wine. If you do not wish to receive communion, you may receive a blessing instead.

Directions & Parking
Christ Church is located at 109 S. Washington St. in downtown Rockville. Our campus is across from City Hall and near the Maryland District Court.
Please consult the map below for information on our ample free parking options. The church entrance faces S. Washington St; please enter through the right-hand set of double doors. Our welcomers will assist you with finding seating and any questions or needs.
