Christ Episcopal Church

Children & Youth Christ Church offers extensive programs for children and their families, including nursery care, Godly Play and Spark Sunday School, and more.  Christ Church is a partner in the regional youth ministry, Montgomery Episcopal Regional Caring Youth (MERCY), which also includes St. James in North Potomac and St. Francis in Potomac.

Christ Episcopal School Christ Episcopal School (CES) offers children a unique educational experience. Our goal is to foster the development of the whole child: mind, body and spirit.

Choir & Choristers Our choirs for children, teens and adults serve both to lead congregational singing in worship as well as provide a unique opportunity for spiritual expression and growth. 

Community Ministries Christ Church is engaged in ministries that touch people in the Rockville community, the greater Metropolitan Area, and overseas.

Care of the Environment The Environmental Stewardship Committee consists of a number of concerned and caring people who want to conserve and protect our natural world.

Fellowship & Welcoming Christ Church is a close-knit community where we experience God's love through fellowship with one another.

Pastoral Care Christ Church pastoral care activities include prayers for healing, visiting and worshiping with the sick and elderly, and supporting each other in times of need.

Lay Participation in Worship For those who desire a closer connection with worship at Christ Church, and especially the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist, there are various opportunities to actively participate in the worship service.

Adult Christian Formation Christ Church provides a variety of opportunities for adults in our parish community to participate in prayer, study, worship, and fellowship that strengthens and deepens our relationship with God.
